there is an extreme lack of workrooms for students at the faculty for architecture at the university of applied science cologne. because there are no room reserves inside of the main complex, an outsourcing will be necessary and would solve the proplem of early closing times in a simple manner. the car park at the back of the faculty is a suitable place for temporary buildings, as long as parking spaces and trees are kept. the pavilions are accessed and connected with the main complex via a stud link. a clearance height of 3 meters has to be ensured. the pavilions are, suitable to the students situation, of temporary character. concept, construction, matrial and structural design should reflect this.
